The Hermosa Beach is also the thinnest mattress in the Studio collection. It sits at a height of 8" for the mattress only.

The Studio collection is a great budget mattress. Simmons has used the famed pocketed coil system along with a stretch knit cover and also used high performance foams. The foams will give you the proper comfort you are looking for in a mattress.

The Studio collection is a new collection by Simmons that gives mattresses a more sleek or streamlined look. Using the individually pocketed coil gives the Studio collection the motion separation and contouring that you have come to expect from Simmons Beautyrest. To give the Studio collection the lower profile look Simmons has shortened the height of the coil system. This means that you have a good firm mattress but it gives just a little to provide you with better support by contouring to your body better. The Georgetown firm also sits at a height of 8.5" for the mattress only.

      If you are trying to decide between the Hermosa Beach or Georgetown firms it is really a coin flip. They both have a comfort scale of 3 and the difference in foams is very minimal. Really the only thing to decide on is the overall thickness of the mattress.

      The Studio collection is a new collection by Simmons that gives mattresses a more sleek or streamlined look. The Studio collection is a great budget mattress. Simmons has used the famed pocketed coil system in the Studio Collection. Using the individually pocketed coil gives the Studio collection the motion separation and contouring that you have come to expect from Simmons Beautyrest. To give the Studio collection the lower profile look Simmons has shortened the height of the coil system.
